Where can I buy tickets?
When you have arrived in your destination, bying tickets is easy. Buy them on board all buses, from our street sellers, and from our partners in each city (Tourist information centers and partner hotels).
Can I pre-purchase my ticket?
Yes, tickets for the Norwegian destinations can be bought online on this website.
Can we join the tour at any stop?
Yes, the ticket is valid from any of the stops listed, and the audio system uses GPS in order to play the correct commentaries depending on the location of the vehicle.
How long is my ticket valid for?
In the Norwegian destinations, tickets are valid either 24 hours or all day on the date of redemption.
Does the ticket include entrance to attractions?
No, but some museums and attractions will provide holders of a City Sightseeing ticket with a discount.

Will we see all the major sights?
Yes. The City Sightseeing tours are the most comprehensive way to see the different Norwegian cities.
How do I recognize a City Sightseeing bus?
Look out for the City Sightseeing name and logo which clearly brand all our buses. Due to the Scandinavian climate and for your comfort, we are running a various number of buses – some closed and air conditioned and some open top. Also, in some Norwegian destinations, the City Sightseeing tours are operated with cabrio mini buses, not double deckers.
Can I pay in any currency?
CitySightseeing Norway accepts Norwegian Kroner, Euros and US Dollars. It is also possible to buy tickets from our street sellers and drivers with all major credit cards.
How does the Hop on Hop off concept work?
The City Sightseeing buses operate on an agreed continuous route. Along this route there are key points of interest and attractions. Our Hop on Hop off stops are carefully selected to enable you to visit these places of interest. Simply hop off where you want and return to the same stop to continue your tour.
How many different languages are offered?
In the Norwegian destinations, the City Sightseeing commentaries are offered in 8 languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Italian, Norwegian, Russian and Spanish. One pair of earphones is included in the ticket price, for each sightseeing guest to listen to the commentaries in the preferred language. The media system uses GPS-signals to broadcast audio depending on the location of the vehicle.
